Finally! After all these months, it's finished!
Hope you have nearly half an hour to spare!
"Hydrex Adventure" - based on the original concept by The Sonic Team, this is a variation of the "Sonic Adventure DX" storyline, but with my otter-characters, Leroy "Hydrex" & Pearl Rudderbuck.
With the exception of the otters and Krakatoa the Kraken, all the other characters are trademarks of SEGA.
Also, I did use a fair number of musical themes from different sources - though I did try to stick by the 30-second rule. Any clip that appears longer is really a sound-loop.
The continuing story of the efforts of Hydrex & Pearl to defeat Eggman's machines and escape.
Will they make it? Will Eggman's robots prove too strong for them? Or will they prove that you should never carry your Eggman in one basket?
Please note: I had to split this Flash into two halves due to size, since the program was unable to get enough memory to export it in one piece. I'd advise watching the half first, because there is no "story so far" preamble on this half.

Good way to finish it, seems like you're planning more stories for the couple. I can kinda guess you might try a Sonic Heroes story next.

Love the way that the evil sounding music becomes really jolly whenever Krakatoa shows up.

And Drew (Big's voice) was the one who randomly threw in the Final Fantasy link...
The Hornpipe kind of became a victory dance to them!
And Hydrex is agile, of course...
Who knows how Robotnik thinks...?
Krakatoa's theme? It has those two stages to it - an ominous "rising" jingle all the time people don't know what this is coming out of the water... but then the jolly theme when we realise he's actually quite tame!

The animation was impresive and smooth, I really like the way everything was drawn and you must have taken a long time over all the shots and angles!

Must be a relief and victory feeling to have the project all finished now eh? This part was all new footage.
Bit slow pacing for my taste, but pretty funny at some points. Neato animation. Nice job!

I guess I need a little bit of quiet descriptive/illustrative moments in my own movies. Problem is, I'm not to happy about my drawing style, so I rather have it fly past at top speed, rather then building ambience.

Well what can i say. EPIC. The storyline is excellent, and is faithful to SADX, the animation is precise and fluent, voice actors sound great and the jokes that break up the segments are well placed and witty. I was shocked with how good the egg carrier looked, and the settings brought back happy memories of one of my favorite games.

another awesome ep. I must say this story is amazing. especially with how well choreographed the fight scenes are. I suppose when Dr Robotnik was sitting in the water you could have made him say " I hate that Hedgehog." The additional bit at the end was great too.
