Description A character reference for Vladimir Rippovski, a lawyer at the very top of his profession (he can hang from the ceiling).

Highly experienced in the knowledge of law, so perhaps the right sort of person to have on your side, if you're not afraid of being sucked dry...
Not much is known about this creepy individual except that he knows his job. Extremely deadpan, this Russian-born vampire bat would give an undertaker the creeps.
Still, for whatever first impressions he may give, it's hard to find a good lawyer - and Vladimir certainly knows his job...

Big update: Some friends of mine agreed with a critique of my Mum - that Vladimir's big close-set eyes looked too "owlish" and not really batlike. I have just given Vladimir a severe makeover to pull in the cheeks, broaden the nose and ears, redo the eyes and generally giving him a more anatomically-correct design.

Well, not exactly suck-ups - Vladimir doesn't butter parsnips... if he has to appear in court, he just does his job and spouts legalese.
The joke was more about how the average lawyer bleeds his client dry with all the legal fees!
(Mostly, he specialises in personal matters, like family arrangements, last will and testaments and suchlike)
As far as stories go, though, I have him making his official cameo in a future Dan Clan story - yet another thing I've got to get written and published... gotta get me finger out!

Well, now that the calendar is available for sale, and I also submitted that Darien picture I wanted to work on...
Hmmm, there's no other artwork high on priority at the moment - I've pretty much burnt out for now...
At least I can work on that book now...

Fair enough I'll check them out soon, promise! - falling behind massively on my devs! (and a week or so ago an hour a day was enough for all of this AND facebook! O.o; )

That was the trouble with the graphic-novel idea, I guess... it kind of became a chore to have to draw each and every panel, instead of just telling it as it was.
