I ran over that space monkey by accident. Then I noticed the renegade points, and proceeded to slaughter the entire colony, even after I realized that I only got points for the first one. Worth it.I really could not drive the mako. It was so bad that every time someone mentioned driving anywhere in ME2 I was filled with dread, and every time it was revealed that there was no mako to drive only a cutscene implying that it had been done... great, glorious relief.
And no, I did not like the hammerhead either, thought it was easier to control. I sneezed and it broke. Ugh.
This week Champions and Heroes is 'alternative game week', which translates into 'mako week'. The entire comic can be found here championsandheroes.smackjeeves⦠and on tumblr championsandheroes.tumblr.com/ and is done as a collaboration with the car driving

lol you don't have to be drunk to do that, the Mako was shitty as hell and had worse controls than a inverted reverse backwards Soviet car with no break and only able to move through turning

Haha well, at first I didn't think it was as bad as my ME loving friend made it out to be. Then I got stuck. Then I ended up running head first into some bug that left the mako flipping around in the air (in the same spot). Then I had to stand around and wait for ages for the shields to reload. Then a pair of mountains treated me like a pong ball as I fell down them. Then I got stuck humping a wall while geth shot at me because there wasn't enough space to back out. And through it all I couldn't drive straight to save my life and any hint of a turn became a sharp 90 degree turn.
At that point, I was bloody sick and tired of the mako XD
