Here's the next submission in the Fighting Game Women miniseries.Mistakes: shading on skirt is slightly strange. I wasn't sure what kind of material Honey's skirt was, so I went with my gut and figured it'd be leather. On the design front, her wings are missing.
Here's Honey from SEGA fighting game Fighting Vipers. In the US, she's known as Candy. For some reason, I can't quite get myself to call her Candy, probably because back when I was a kid, the arcade at my local shopping district had the Japanese cabinet, so her name was Honey in that. Released in 1996, followed by a sequel in 1998, this game was awesome for its fence breaking mayhem, and utilizing an armor system (similar to what we would see years later with Soul Calibur IV). There is a story behind her name. She is based on a scrapped Sonic character, Honey the Cat who was supposed to be in some early 90s Sonic games. Im guessing Sega didn't want to relate her anymore so changed it to Candy. She was so sexualised, especially for a 16 year old... O_O I was about 7 when I first played FF. The Honey wallpaper was so... *nose bleed*. She made her own clothes "fashion student" and wore sexy lacy undies.

Ah, very interesting. I think I can understand the name change. Besides the sexualizing and wanting to differentiate the two, both characters having the same name can be confusing. Kinda like the two Law's from the Tekken series.

I so remember Honey/Candy from Fighting Vipers she was one of my favorites, I don't know why, but I always loved that outfit of her.

Hmm...Let's see if I remember. I drew out her skeleton and made her hips purposefully thin... But when I added the close, I might have made it accidentally thinner... Tracing it out with the shading, it looks like that's what happened... drat. Ah well, but thanks for commenting.
