Description
THIS MODEL HAS BEEN UPDATEDshortly after the invasion of Earth in 2350 SC-77 was tasked to build machines to counter the aliens war machines. the Devastator was the first LDM (Large Defense Machine) to be produced original build after a few weeks of combat it was due for repairs and was given some minor upgrades to make the second build recently the fighting has been more intense, the aliens now see the bots as a threat instead of just an inconvenience. the Devastator received massive damage and had to be completely re-fit with a new internal structure to produce the third build
the Devastator is the bulkiest of the three current LDM's it has the most armor and ammo, but sacrifices movement speed. although it was the first LDM, until the most recent upgrades it was thought that the avalanche would replace it.
the main weapon is the custom built mark 3 Chain gun on the left arm, the ammo is capable of easily penetrating the armor of alien machines and can sustain a fire rate of 6000 RPM
the shotgun fires a 200mm spread shell at 300 RPM the gun carries its own battery to generate ammo, this is left over from the original gun which was not built for mounted use.
it is also equipped with dual missile launchers for a total of 44 seeker missiles and 6 heavy rockets
the dual heli-blade arms and foot-mounted jet assists are used to move it over barriers it is incapable of climbing, they can lift the LDM to a height of 10 stories although, it has been known to be pushed higher.
while the avalanche was becoming the favored mech among pilots the dev was getting pushed back on the upgrade list so some of the pilots convinced SC-77 to add a clear firepower advantage to the devasator
NOTES:
decided to make some minor upgrades on the dev while working on the finalized cockpit. deadpool7100.deviantart.com/ar…
added "body" guns, 6 sets for a total 10 guns.
also expanded the missile pods from 28+2 to 44+6
added armor to the interior shoulders and some extra plating to the legs

It looks impressive.
If you lego designers guys can group together and make a movie or mini series featuring those gems It will be so cool.

Lego should buy this design from you and remake the Exo-Force theme based off this badassery. This can be the new Grand Titan! Very very well done Deadpool.

Whoops...maybe I should've looked at the comments before asking for a LDD file. Btw they have done two amazing things to LDD. First is they have updated the inventory. There is practically every lego piece included. Two, they have Lego Ideas on their website where basically you can post pictures of your lego creation and if it gets enough votes in a certain time (I believe it is one year for 10000 votes ) then it can be made into a real lego set that can be sold, and you get part of the profit! You do have to have an LDD file though.

Thanks! First time I've heard someone ask to recreate one of my larger MOCs!!
but sadly no... A lot of parts I used to create it don't exist in LDD so I've never tried....
I might look into though, bit it'll take awhile considering I just started work for this summer
there is some detailed shots of V3.5 which isn't much different if you want to try and work from that!
