The soldiers from City 08 marched through the blast hatch towards lt. Galvert, who was eagerly awaiting their precious cargo to disembark. Galvert had been losing his mind all morning getting his procrastinating ass all the paperwork to sign the subject into City 17, and the rumors and gossip amongst his fellow officers only added to his frustration. The whole station was buzzing all month about Oshikawa and Breen's joint project to "rejuvenate Civil Protection". He had all the transfer papers and ID tags of course, but something in the back of his mind was nagging that he had missed something important. But he shook it off and dismissed it as just being nervous. Even though this was an Overwatch class Alpha transfer, he was confident he'd get the job done. When the Chief of City 17 metropolice personally asks you to do something. You do it. End of story.

He fidgeted slightly as the soldiers approached him. He personally hated dealing with the military. They're so cold and lifeless, and they made him pretty damn nervous just standing around him. Everyone knows how to become a Combine soldier, but half of Civil Protection don't go beyond the memory replacement. It's one thing to get perks, better meals and a more improved living standard, it's another to become a living circuit board with a chunk of your frontal lobe missing. He saw one unmasked once. Creepy shit.

The solder saluted, odd considering the rank difference.

"Unit 216, City 08 Overwatch relinquishing transfer D34-XX087 to C17 Metropolice Command."

Galvert straightened his posture and saluted back. Showtime.

"Thank you sir. If your comrade would be so kind as to escort the transfer, we can begin processing."

The soldier nodded towards his companion who walked up the dropship's gangplank. A moment later he was gently guiding a young woman out. He unchained her shackles and pointed towards Galvert. She nodded and walked towards him. Galvert was stunned, he certainly wasn't expecting a female. Her skintone was a pale blue, not unlike a cadaver's. Obviously the result of merging Human and Combine DNA. Her eyes were also a dead giveaway, reptilian in nature with traces of what appeared to be circuits and surgical enhancements, with the Overwatch logo tattooed onto her cheek. Nice body too. Her chest was easily almost a D cup. What the hell was that about? Did they send us a supercop or a Playboy bunny?

"This way please." He motioned. And all four of them started towards the elevator.
