Back when her children had been born, back before the spark of inspiration had destined them for Kol, Olimpia had imagined this day. She'd imagined Yael and Wander waking to their first snow; a magical sight of children playing in fresh powder, laughing and carefree. The joy of snows had long left her as she'd grown up, but it was something she had looked forward to as a new mother.
Now...?
The Kol had strong winters, existing so far north. The children would no doubt be seeing their first snow without her.
She would simply have to hope they could enjoy it together.
