Artificial Intelligence (A.I) Companion: Valorous Servitude- A Covenant Separatist-built Encephalon/Artificial Intelligence who takes the form of a silver and green Sangheili Officer with a moustache. Yes, a hair moustache on a normally reptillian being, but believe it or not, he kinda rocks it. Valorous is usually a stiff, laconic sort, not very good at expressing what feelings he has. However, he has big dreams, wishing to be the kind of venerated man who holds the line against evil and serves as a soldier. He sorta got half his dream in the fact that he provides Ursa all the technical and weapons support aboard the Will of Iron and provides him with tactical assistance in the field. Valorous Servitude is considered one of Ursa's closest friends, alongside Urs Absolute, due to Ursa knowing that they are the only two he can truly discuss the speculative nature of his existence with.
Urs Absolute- Another Sangheilian Encephalon, Urs Absolute controls many of the systems aboard Ursa's flagship the EDO Helioshaven. He was constructed from the remains of the ancilla core of the automated War Sphinx Orion Absolute as part of Project: Absolution. Urs Absolute is rather quiet and reserved, shy even, and usually only converses with 'Magnumik aboard the Helioshaven, linked via Ursa's memory block implant. It is clear that Ursa cares deeply for Urs Absolute, considering him a friend and one of only two individuals he can truly talk to about the nature of his existence.

Helioshaven now serves as the flagship of the Aegis Guard and has been enhanced with numerous Forerunner-derived weapons and defense systems. 'Tsuv's Wrath'- This mysterious Forerunner Hammer has the ability to project intense hardlight 'storms' directed by the wielder which can tear through an opponent with ease. It also seems to exert some ability to influence weather patterns. However, this hammer's true power is something far more exotic and wondrous- this hammer is actually The Knead of Valiance-and-Soul, The symbol of office of the master-artificer of the original 13 Forerunner Paragons. Despite it's name, it is not a machine designed to knead dough, but rather, it is a cudgel used to hammer items into shape. Utilising the power of a miniature neutron star at its very heart, the Knead operates through the convergence of neural physics and science. It is not known just how powerful the Knead is, but it is believed that it can be used to make anything out of anything, with the possibilities only being limited by the skill and knowledge of the being wielding it. The Knead was used to craft many of the other artefacts of the Paragons and their Disciples. On its own, the Knead is a capable tool, but only Valiance-and-Soul's integrated Star Lathe allowed the Knead to reach its full potential and create weapons and artefacts of supernatural power. On the bright side, its sheer mass can certainly be used to pack a friggin' huge whallop. The thing is so heavy that only a select few have the strength to carry it without any difficulty. Following her death, the Knead was passed onto the Ancient Human Disciple Apryl who was a student of Valiance-and-Soul, but was lost after the firing of the Halo Array. The Covenant eventually retrieved it from one of the Ten Cities of Edification on the world of Zhoist, and studied its power for thousands of years before it wound up bestowed upon Ursa during his time as a propaganda figure for the Covenant military.

Personality: Daring, strategically ingenious, and courageous to the point of recklessness, Ursa 'Magnumik hammers back the forces of evil—literally. He is the hammer-wielding commander of The Aegis Guard and Manager of the Crashers, and one of Thora 'Marumee's closest lieutenants. He's more than capable of whipping even the worst disarray into military discipline, though he can get rather hung-up on protocol. Regardless, he's rightly feared among the Banicron ranks.
Ursa feels he is a soldier and nothing more. He very much prefers taking the bigger orders to giving them, and even avoids opportunities for higher responsibility. But when he is forced into those roles, he betrays his real talent for the job. He's strong, resolute, dependable, selfless, and courageous. Unfortunately for those below him in the command chain, he is also a maniac for protocol, and always does thing by the book. This doesn't play well with the cross-species Crashers team, who he has been tasked with managing and putting a little more discipline into. Ursa constantly refers to how he has made mistakes he wish he didn't make before as a commando because of his past disregard for following orders, he's just trying to stop them making the same mistakes he did.
Believing he is nothing more than a soldier, he is perfectly willing to sacrifice himself for the greater good if need be. He knows he's more powerful than the average, and will throw himself at larger threats accordingly. He is respected by both friends and enemies, due to his courage and self-sacrifice.
But Ursa hides a dark secret. One that raises questions about mortality, his mental state, and the nature of his very existence. That secret is the fact that he has died no less than 30 times across his career as a soldier- his mind and body preserved through an advanced memory block which can be uploaded installed back into a new, cybernetically augmented clone body every time he dies. He was originally 'resurrected' to serve as a propaganda figure and hero to the Covenant, giving the illusion that he was an immortal warrior, but the fact that he is frequently brought back to life torments Ursa everyday, and makes him question if he still has a soul left. What's worse, he's started to realise that everytime he dies and is 'reset', his memory deteriorates further and further. Ursa has noticed himself forgetting faces, names, and even interactions after each death. Luckily, nothing he's forgotten has been important enough to jeopardise his work, but if he doesn't figure out a way to stop the data on his memory block from becoming corrupted, he may wake up one day without the slightest clue as to who he really is.
He is also slightly suspicious of his allies, and acts as a military policeman when he needs to. You see, even in war, there are laws. Ursa 'Magnumik, Duly Appointed Enforcer of the Hullat Accord, is the thin blue line that enforces those laws. Whether you're fighting for the forces of Good or Evil, break them and you can do things his way... or the hard way.
And you don’t want to choose the hard way.
(I FINALLY FINISHED HIM!!!! This one took WAY longer than I thought he would as plot points for his story kept piling up on top of me. Anyway, I was going to say something, but I have to grab my lunch now, so I'm gonna just leave the story of Ursa 'Magnumik here. Enjoy! docs.google.com/document/d/1GM… )
Quotes:
"We must do everything we can to stop Turok, with or without Thora 'Marumee."
"Do all Humans display the same disregard for authority?"
Ursa: "Now, unless there is any further objection soldier, please follow me." Willis Dugan: "Aye aye capt'n." Ursa *Opening his ship's weapons locker stocked full of all sorts of guns*: "Tridents, take your pick." Willis Dugan: "Now you're speaking my language, sir."
"You're looking, robust, Supreme Commander."- To Thora 'Marumee
"But is it enough to make me "bend"? In my book, one compromise leads to another...and another...and pretty soon...you've crossed the line you're supposed to be holding."
"As I've tried to teach you, undisciplined thinking can make even the simplest task impossible."
”I didn't think the new future we Sangheili had in store was good enough. But I'll tell you what truly isn't good enough: giving up."
