This is obviously a WIP, drawn and inked traditionally. All that's left is to color it digitally

The black tree foreground works really well. Enhances it I think. Sets a mood too, but it's also got good depth. I have terrible depth perception in 2D. I can't really describe much else of why. I'm terrible at describing why. Sorry if this made no sense

That mad a lot of sense! Thank you! Thanks for the feedback, I wasn't sure if it really conveyed the depth I was trying to get across or not. I was thinking of also adding another layer of depth, when I go to color this, by painting in some more trees in the far background.
