One thing that separates this Red Riding Hood version from another is the fact that she used to wear the mask. As her brief said, part of the reason she wears it is because of a disfiguring scar on the left side of her face, which certainly will reveal her identity if she’s not hide her face. But in my opinion, she wears it because she loved it.

While most of Red Riding Hood characters tend to be more feminine and vulnerable (I didn’t count the one in Darkstalkers game, she’s also cute but very dangerous. That’s why I draw her for Capcom contest), this one is different. She may mentally a bit fragile, because I think woman who decided to put a suit and battle the bad guys mostly have traumatic experience in her life before, but depth inside she probably enjoyed this much. I’m not saying she’s enjoyed it in freakish way, but in a more like comforting. She can be herself in that costume, and she can do anything beneath it. While most of the costume is hiding the truth, this one is revealing her strength and will.

Well, this is just my opinion. This one really has a potential to be a great comic character, and I hope one day I’ll have a chance to draw her again.
