This is pretty neat! I don't think I'll be using it, but I do really like the concept. It'd be great for the comments/replies section to have a similar sorting system. Sometimes I'll post on the forums a lot and get a whole lot of replies, but replies on deviations or journals (even polls) will kind of get buried. :\ And I don't like list-view, so I only see 3-6 at a time!

Ha, thanks^^
Well, this script was a request... I guess it would work similar for comments (I also made some script for filtering activities)... However, I only have 2 Comments currently... one from the 10.9.13... and 8 replies, ranging from 2.7.13 - 19.9.13, so I don't really have a need to have a filtering-script... usually I leave the comments there as I need to do something about them or so... I could archive them I guess, but I don't look into my archive for months...
If you like, have a look at my other scripts: dediggefedde.deviantart.com/gaβ¦

Looks like a good idea, congratulations!
I was trying to make a "deviation popup preview" for the messages page when there is only a deviation link, and got really frustrated by the amount of javascript to un-scramble and make sense of.

Thanks!
(However, the idea is from ginkografics^^ I just made the userscript)
which Deviation-links do you mean? Isn't there already a userscript that gives you a bigger view of a deviation if you hover over the preview?

Yes! Found a way. This is the URL to get the JSON for this deviation, including preview URLs: [link]

Actually, I think I might have found a way that does not need so much hacking, here: [link]

I mean this: [link]
I wanted to have the link show a preview, on hoover, just like what happens when you go to (in your case) dediggefedde.deviantart.com/stats/gallery/ and hover over the links.
I'm not very used to Javascript debuggers, and stepping into takes a lot of time to get somewhere useful, so I couldn't find a way to basically get the preview URL from the deviation URL.

Yes, and oh holy crap. I've coded it by myself (partially). The f*, I'm pissed. Take a look, it works as a bookmarklet, just be on the "my messages" page. [link]

well, I'm not used to bookmarklets, so I don't know how to use it^^
when I'm coding, I just take a look at the site-source-code+dom, start my text-editor and write my userscript^^

Basically, you add the link (which is a "javascript:" link, that executes it's URL encoded text) as a bookmark (just as you'd add any link to the bookmarks, on chrome and firefox you drag it to the bookmark's bar) and go to the messages page, click on the bookmark (which executes the script) and hover over deviation links. It lasts as long as you are in the page, and you can navigate over the folders too, as it checks for changes in the DOM. It looks cute at least, and it fades in.
If you want to take a look at the commented source code, here it is: [link] (I was trying to make into a google extension and gave up now).
