Description
I''ve been making and starting to improve the design of my cardboard toilet-roll roses. They are 'actual' rose size (on the larger side) and are highly detailed. Some I paint, others, like this one, i leave in natural card, which I sort of prefer. I am making them to sell, so if anyone is interested, please get in touch with me at www.facebook.com/crisimikiwikipikiMany thanks!

Well done indeed. I love it when people utilize materials that most others would discard as trash. And I especially like the contrast between toilet paper and roses. I hope you sell a million of them!

Thanks very much! Yeah I love recycling things. It means I end up collecting tonnes of crap that i will 'find a use for one day'.
If I sold even 0.01% of 1 million i'd be happy!

So I've been trying to figure out how you are doing this. And I don't want to make you divulge your secrets or anything, but how in the world are you making the stem??? Are you adding lots of glue or something? Like a paper mache?

good observation! When i first made them I was just rolling it tight with a good deal of glue for some stability. Now that I am making more of them and selling them, I wanted them to be a little more durable so I am adding a wooden armature in places where needed.
