Nice big image of Thor. Yes, our Thor was a woman. Odin was tricked by Freya into giving the power of the hammer to their daughter. He took the hammer back and she lost her arm in the process.Related content

And I was the first person to think of doing a female Thor, long before Marble did theirs.
It was also a chance for me to play with prejudice a little. Even the Bible sidelines women when in reality they had always occupied a very important place in society. So here I gave Odin a daughter rather than the son he desperately wanted and Freya tricks Odin into giving her the power of Thunder. Something Odin can only take back when she dies.
So when you've been raised in a family where your daddy wants to off you, the only way to survive is if you're going be a major badass!!
