I've taken this pose from another picture of mine that I haven't uploaded here yet. I felt like experimenting with soft shading and hard lighting. Might post to scraps later.Most of my influence with lighting techniques has come from I've learned alot from this guy. Check him out if you haven't already

Compare this to SEGA's classic Sonic in Generations; I think this design is much better. ItΒ keeps the retro cutenessΒ and his cool attitude in perfect balance.
