Description
This was a gift for my older sister, hence the butterfly. Every since I was little, I gave her a drawing of a horse and a butterfly (horses were my favorite, and horses were mine). This pose just seemed perfect; the cute expression and sparky trot were exactly what I was looking for. The beautiful reference came from , and here it is: [link] The little squiggle I pass for a butterfly is my own. This is, as usual, a 9x12, drawn with 2B - 8B graphite pencils. Here's the WIP: [link]

It has an excellent sense of balance and movement. I can just see the tail switching away . Well done!
