Description
"These occasionally fly out of air holes. Remember! It takes one blast of the normal beam to destroy the yellow ones and two blasts to destroy the red ones."Β-Metroid Manual, 1986
Biological Record 005: Zeb
These fast-flying creatures are one of the many examples of Zebesian fauna that possess bioluminescent anatomical features, bringing much needed visibility to an otherwise pitch-black environment. Using much of the left-over piping and machinery scattered throughout Brinstar as a way to travel undetected, their quiet, yet rapid fluttering is even hard to pickup on my external sound receivers. Atop their heads are large horn-like growths, which are used to pierce the bodies of their prey or intimidate other predators. That said, they aren't particularly large or dangerous; in fact, they're comparatively smaller than everything I've encountered thus far.Β

You've really created a great atmosphere with these Metroid pics. They have a simplicity with all the black empty space that gives this feeling of the void of space and dark evil, really moody. Great!

Hello, tried to get in conctact with you before through note but, in the lack of an answer, just wantedΒ to let you know that your Marathon Cyborg concept was comissioned to be 3d modeled. Both the comissioner and I liked your artwork and based the character, for the most part, around it. Anyways, you make some sick artwork pal, cheers!!!

Like one of those monster generators form Atari's Gauntlet, except you can't break them here. Most annoying enemy in Metroid! Still love the beetle design, I hope Nintendo really tries another FPS "Prime" installment, think I'd work well with the Switch (No matter how butthurt some hmm hmm fanboys get over being FP, like Other M wasn't a major disaster of an attempt to bring Metroid back to its roots). Great Job

Yeah! I always use them to farm for health when I'm low, haha.Β
I'm not opposed to another FPS, though I'd be honestly interested in seeing a proper 3rd-person adventure game to ix it up a bit. Not to relate everything back to Dark Souls, but I think something slower-paced like that would be pretty cool, but also now that 3d platforming has come a long way.Β
