You do these characters justice. Case - yup, looks like someone living out of that backpack and trying desperately to look like he's ok. Molly - dangerous, proud, overconfident. Armitage - well-dressed, well-travelled, but his eyes say he's not quite all there.

The guy on the right (Armitage?) is exactly how I would look in a comic or something. Well aside from the hair. I'd keep my long black beautiful hair. I'll have to pick up these books sometime. I really haven't been reading as much as I've wanted.

This is so far beyond awesome. Not only unique and slick designs, but also exactly like the book descriptions, right down to Molly's red steel-toed cowboy boots! Bra-fucking-vo!

Thanks a bunch, I appreciate it! Something I really love about Gibson is that he has a great knack for character design, even if it's solely by use of description alone. Some people don't like it, but I like the fact that he describes everyone's clothing in good detail so that you can clearly imagine a character, but not extremely specific that it becomes distracting.Β

I love Gibson for being one of those authors who clearly cares about his characters, and has an image of them in his mind. Authors who won't describe their characters at all often give the impression that they just don't give a crap about their characters.Β

Same here, though in the opposite end of the spectrum, super ambiguity can be interesting sometimes. Frank Herbert's Dune isn't quite like that, but its characters are left somewhat open-ended, which makes them a lot of fun to conceptualize. From a purely visual standpoint, I like Gibson's method more.Β

The sons of Marie-France Tessier and John Ashpool, the Orbit family that clones their children and freezes them and themselves cryogenically for tax evasion reasons.
I should have called them n-Jane and n-Sean, since the clones go by numbers (3-Jane being the most notorious and, later, the last surviving family member).

Gotcha. I think it may have mentioned them in passing in the book. I am finished with 3jane, not sure If I'll do the rest, as they didn't seem to be prominent enough.Β

True enough, though Marie-France and old John Ashpool both feature in Neuromancer in some capacity (John Ashpool likes to molest and murder cloned daughters, and Marie-France does several in-book explanatory pieces on Tessier-Ashpool and their AIs).

I may do some supplemental sketches of them in the back of the book. I know I have other background character sketches I'd like to include. If I do happen to do a comic, including them would be more likely for sure.Β

Great character designs, they all got a lot of personality. I am really enjoying the details of the folds of their cloths, it's nice to see from fitting mixed with more lose styles. The man on the right (I believe Armitage?) I like the look of the asian robe under his long coat.
