These look so nice! Yes, straight from the book, with all their unattractiveness, their foibles, their flaws.

It's uncanny, it's like it's straight out of the book !

Somehow I missed that entire drawing. (Probably because I didn't think to go into your gallery at all.) Thanks!

You've done a superb job bringing the characters (and props) to life.
Nice work!

Thanks! I didn't do a full body of Neuromancer, but I did a sketch of him, as to not spoil it for anyone that hasn't read it. Will upload those soon!Β

Fuckin' hell yes!!!
Maybe I already commented on this, on the Gibson website. I don't remember. But I love and applaud all your interpretations of the characters. And the Finn is one of my favorites, so I'm particular about him. Great work, all around.Β

Thanks as always! Finn is so great.
By the way, I finished Count Zero a few months ago, and I did quite like it. Definitely not as good as Neuromancer, but still an interesting story. I can see your critique on some of the main characters being a tad boring though. Specifically Turner. I liked Bobby enough and was probably my favorite of the three main characters. The book was almost weirder than Neuromancer in a way, but I loved the Finn's appearance in it!Β
Still gotta find a copy of Mona Lisa Overdrive. Been on the lookout for it at used bookshops, but no luck yet.Β

Have you tried your local library? That's odd, that you can't find the book; a lot of used book stores I've been to have at least one copy. If nothing else I'm sure you can find it on Amazon or something. Β

I think I've only seen it in one used bookstore, and for the kinda lousy condition it was in, was too expensive. I'm sure I'll find it eventually, and I'm still reading through a couple other books at the moment, so I definitely have time.Β
I'll order it online if all else fails. I'm weird that way with novels. (I'll order out of print and hard-to-find art books online) Especially for one that I think I could find fairly easily.Β

In my opinion "Mona Lisa Overdrive" is far better than "Count Zero," at least in terms of atmosphere and characters.Β

I'm sure I'll totally enjoy it! Again, Count Zero had its bland moments here and there, but I did like the atmosphere it presented. Who was your favorite character in Count Zero again? (besides finn of course. ) If it is who I'm thinking of, it's probably the same one. I just forgot the name is all.Β

I loved so many of the supporting characters in "Count Zero." I'm particularly fond of Jackie (RIP), as well as Rei (the cranky pilot woman who takes Marley to space).Β

Deimos-Remus In reply to LizzyChrome [2015-08-07 20:49:25 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, Jackie was the one! It did have a great supporting cast, particularly in Bobby's segments.Β

Love these characters! Seriously! And you have a great style. I've never red Neuromancer, but now I'm intrigued. This has a very Snow Crash vibe to it. It would be interesting to see your take on that, by the way.

It's a great book, super enigmatic and visceral. I definitely have interest in reading Snow Crash eventually, I just have to get through my current reading list first. From what I've heard, the characters sound really interesting, so I'm looking forward to reading it when I can!

I keep forgetting to re-upload one page because of a typo, and Blurb's design capabilities take a long time to get everything put together. Once I get some down time (hopefully soon) I'll reupload a corrected version and also get my Mythology book finished!Β
Thanks! I totally wanted to make it look overtly 80s. Old looking tech ages the best in my opinion.Β
