But then we get... oh man, wonderfully done flashback. Wonderfully done. Especially the scene where she puts her top hat on. So wonderful.

(I love how Kit's backstory got in here with that swishy watercolor look. And the last panel of her putting her hat on...)

This is my favourite sequence of pages, easy. I like Rellik's RAWR! face, and the painted flashback scenes are really classy. You're awesome! These dA challenges are lots of fun, looks like, but I hope you have a series of your own you're working on, or at least thinking about. Don't let your snazz go to waste~

Hey, thanks! Haha, Yeah I was happy to finally give Rellik some real vampire-y time~ I do have some stories of my own.. but I've been doing these competitions to hone my skills. I think I'm finally getting to the point where I'll feel comfortable working on a big comic of my own! We shall see, after this competition is over~

He did *w* He's okay being in the sun for like.. a few seconds? It takes a moment for him to catch on fire xD;;;; and since he kinda moves faster than people's ability to see (like how he tends to just -appear- places) he wasn't in the light long enough for him to get hurt, since he just leaped through :3

So. It's nice to know you can stab Rellik in the chest and get a rather mild reaction but if you break his cellphone, you better be prepared for hell. ^_^
Also, Kit looks awesome in the first panel. So evil.
Also, I think you did an awesome job with the short fight sequence. The poses and such are perfect. (Plus, I rather like the panel where she's all "Arrrr!")

Aaauugh...this is...the best. Wow. Scary Rellik, for a start, is damn scary. For some reason l didn't even think he'd up and bite her! That that panel was REALLY well drawn.
The whole memory lane part was freaking awesome, Del. You're doing such a fine job with this, getting Kit down SO well. Kelsey also looks totally awesome, and behold, a Cat without his face hidden? Awesome.

Thanks! Haha, yes.. I wasn't sure -how- scary I wanted to go.. but I figured, what the heck. He'd been so good-natured through the whole thing... He was just getting exasperated! And he hadn't eaten the whole time he'd been in Taitle xD kept getting interrupted! And phew.. I was very concerned about getting Kit just right.. and after reading up more about her, I knew I wanted to draw Kelsey atleast, if not more of her backstory :3 So this was definitely a fun way to work it in. Glad you like!

....every time i look at these my heart goes absolutely spazz. You've taken the shreds of backstory i told you and bound them into a heartwrenching, hardassed, absolutely drop-dead-GORGEOUS sequence full of hope and grit. I'm constantly amazed how you take my characters and bring them to life so brilliantly. Love it.
