the gods of my storyverse are known as the behemoths: massive creatures that seem to slip in and out of reality as easily as water. they are the ones who brought life to the darkness and continue to watch over the universe from places we canβt quite conceive of
they are quiet, distant gods, but they still view the universe as their home
also heck yeah i did this in krita and i like this program a LOT

"Places we can't quite conceive of", it's chilling! Halfway through that first line I was about to ask how these gods live, existentially, if there's another dimension laid out specifically for them. It sounds like my ape brain can't even begin to THINK about it, haha.
Such a beautiful portrait here! The shapes are great, and I love how some areas are well-detailed while others are like finger-painted smears. I wonder if that's how the behemoths materialize? Oh I'd love to see more of these beings! <3

truth be told im not really sure what behemoths even are. they're one of the first alien creatures i ever designed, named, and gave backstory to, so they've been around for a long while!

they fill the role of god beings more or less. they have unlimited power, and their physical form most likely isn't what they actually look like. there are only five in total, and their names as we know it are: Gigaannum, Eon, Epoch, Age, and Millenium. they can't die, but a few of them chose to for various reasons, leading to the creation and destruction of a few key elements in my storyverse. for example, the death of them died on their own terms, and in their last dying breath, they brought life to the seconds, and the chronodwellers came into being. another found itself split into 20 darkened versions of itself, scattered across the universe hiding from a sentient, angry star known as the Mad Sun. in its anger, another still lashed out at the fabric of reality, and brought into existence a strange place called Broken Tesseract
they're neat beans, i like them a lot. im very happy to draw them again, honestly! they mean a lot to me c:

Oh that is so fascinating! Imagine being so big-- in a weird, dimensionally-dubious kinda way-- that your death literally changes the balance of the universe. And to choose death when logic says otherwise is a really neat concept. "If they're gods they can do as they wish" right? They're conundrums and I really like that! Definitely can't wait to see more of these beings! <3
