This is what an interallum looks like from above? Holy crap! Now THERE'S an optical illusion. From the side they look like a toss-up between a bugmonsterpillbugthing and a dog, but from above there's the distinct impression of a manta ray.

Very neat picture! I love the design, above all else, it's very creepy and otherworldly and definitely up here with being one of your more intriguing designs. For some reason, the white area towards the front reminds me of those tiny, antique, porcelain mini-portraits (the word escapes me at the moment; they're tiny and usually fit in lockets or necklaces). It's weird and alien and I could honestly see them using that as an organ of communication or sense. It's made even eerier by the line going down the center, resembling a spine and rib cage. How did you achieve the look of this picture? I'm guessing you took a pencil/hard-edged brush and set its transparency halfway down, then simply used short strokes as you painted. Pretty nifty, man. For some reason it reminds me of wrapping paper!

I can't offer any critiques on this again AWW SO SORRY, your stuff is so find constructive criticism on. However, some more commentary on the pic, idea, or character/species woul be nice, but I'm being a nitpicky, info-hungry worldbuilder haha. It's just overall so cool aaah~
