Yeah I understand that. I love writing stories, but I have problems with English. Nevertheless I'm still writing. Altough I have to say my German is very good, some people even say perfect German, so yeah.

Why do these ussually get all of the attention while anything that may be more cynical/pesimistic get shafted away, never to expiriance atleast a popural tag.
Its quite jaring in my opinion.

Just because something optimistic is on the front page today doesn't mean something cynical won't be here tomorrow. Keep an eye out for the SYAC comics. Those are usually cynical/pessimistic.

Actually SYAC isnt very good...Its bad.I like the art but Tom Preston i find is an obnoxious artist at best and it shows in the webcomic.
I dont find SYAC cynical or pessimistic.I mean, its about a successful
cartoonist that goes around having wacky misunderstanding with various caricatures of people he meats in real life.Sounds like an average webcomic without any traces of pessimism or being cynical.
But anyways my main concern is that there arent enough pieces of artwork that may display a pessimistic message compared to the vast amounts of work that are about how you should feel better about your self or the world.
Its not that i dislike these kinds of artwork (well, ok i disagree a little) but i find it monotonous and it doenst really bring something that people may try to discussa nd steer conversation and considering a community like this i find it a shame.
Still i will keep an eye out for that.

Yeah, I agree on SYAC, I don't like that comic at all. I mentioned it because I find him bitching about stuff all the time, so I figured it might be the more cynical/pessimistic stuff you're looking for.
Anyways, you can always use the 'search' option to find what you're looking for here on dA.
