Awww! ♥ I really like this poem, especially because while English is my native tongue, I was dyslexic and had to have speech therapy when I was little. These days, I am the biggest bookworm I know and people always compliment me on how well I pronounce my words and my "accent". So many think it's British when it's really just General American with some San Francisco slang!

I've also known a lot of people who knew English as a second language, and I always cheer them on, because I know how hard it is to learn it as well.

Yeah, I have heard of a lot of people like that, but I'm lucky my parents and teachers supported me and made sure I got the tools I needed (and didn't listen to this doctor who thought I was ADHD).
