An ex co-worker told me about a shirt he wanted, and for the life of my I couldn't find it. I've had this image stuck in my head for months, so finally- here is my interpretation. Todd's early Christmas present.

The artist of the original image - the one off the threadless shirt store - is Jason Nelson. You might want to give him credit for, ah.. borrowing his concept. No offense or anything, but I agree with the last two comments - this is far from a DD-worthy piece, and just looks like one of the countless MySpace style rip-offs.

I don't know, This is going to sound awfully rude~
Honestly, I have seen better art from my 12 year-old sister. The butterflies/paint seem very sloppy to me, and not in an artistic way at all. I feel like the threadless design had a lot of impact because the colours were chosen carefully and the lineart was very strong.
This piece needed more definition on the gun itself [because it was easily looked over to me, and only vaguely resembles a gun] and less squiggly butterflies, or a head with a bit more movement, considering an act like this is so violent and makes an such an incredible impact.
It just think this was a poor knock-off. I'm sorry, that's just my opinion, I don't think it deserved the Daily Deviation.

Yeah, that I have to agree with you there. The artwork/craftsmanship itself seemed shoddy to me (though I'm far from any better, to be honest, that's why I'm a poet...), and I've seen a lot of pieces that *deserve* the spot of DD and, really, with all those out there, this one wasn't good enough to have made it in my eyes. I really don't think the head was in the right proportion, or shape, or one of the two, and to be honest, it took me a minute to figure out what the hell I was looking at :/
