This is a great little action for smoothing out skin tone in b&W photos...just remember to do all your dodging first!

This is so pretty... I like the sharpness of your lips in contrast to the softness of the rest of the photo. It is a sexy pose also, with your raised shoulder.. Very nicely done. ( I must learn to manip like this... it rocks)

Thanks This is a preview image for the PS action I created to make my manips go a little faster. If you'd like, download the action, and give a try- I'd love to see what people do with it!

OK... I considered pretending that I knew what you were talking about.... I am way new to the PS thing.. I need to really learn more... You must explain how to download the action in a note when you get time. I am pretty computer savvy (I can build them) but the manip stuff is new.

The action is run from the actions palette in PSCS (if you need instruction for that let me know ). I would suggest you dodge and burn your image first , then use the action, and after that use whatever filters you'd like to enhance the xolor of to change the texture.

ah, no problem! After you download the action, In the PS menu, opt Window > Actions. That will open the Actions Palette. There should be a little triangle on a circular button on the top right of the palette, that will open the options menu, choose Load Action. Locate the file you downloaded (it should be called Dementd Prncess's Soft Image), and click ok. It will now be in the Actions Palette. Dodge and burn your photo as you like, removing any blemishes, expand the Action by clicking the triangle next to it, highlight the first line of the action and press play on the menu at the bottom of the pallette. Viola! you've run an action I hope it works as well for you as it does for me! It takes some getting used to, but once you get the hang of prepping the image, you should have no trouble.
