Description On to new challenges. I am a problem solver, so when my brother got bummed on how there was no toy of the Pelican dropship from Halo, I said I would make one for him. Scale... yeah I do not know. I estimated that a person would stand about 2 cm tall in the ship, so say one meter to every centimeter for scale. There were no blueprints that I could find, so I based it all on still pictures captured from the games. The material is cd case plastic with some screws and bolts, and one hinge. The wings and back engines rotate, and that hinge is for the cargo door. I said I would make it for my brother, but hell if I am going to paint it.

Awesome stuff! Just spray paint it Olive Drab green and then re draw those black lines over it and it should look pretty kick ass

The plastic is held together by superglue. Lots and lots of superglue. By itself, it is not that strong, but when additional pieces are attached, the geometric structure improves. I also use epoxy putty and bolts for the joints.
