Have a little ray of sunshine in these weird times, where we stick together by staying away from each other.

Meet Nero the bright red and unusually cute Manticore! This plush is a spinoff from my lion pattern and is based on a mythical creature that is depicted as a winged lion with a man's face and a tail with one or more poisonous stingers. I never cared much for the human part of the combination, but I love the rest. I had a blast altering the pattern and working with fabric that isn't covered by fur. Nero is a nice huggable size and stands 23 cm (9") tall when his tail is close to the ground. The wings are semi posable and have a wing span of 50 cm (20") between them. The tail is somewhat floppy and needs propping up in order to stay in a raised position.

Materials: Faux fur, polar fleece, faux suede, plastic safety eyes and nose and polyester filling
