Description Fixed up the image a bit and added some color, probably going to do the same for the other two Creepypasta drawings as well.

Along with the Fisherman and the B.O.B. creature, Slender Man is a being that has been sighted sense the 20th century. Most depictions of Slender Man feature him as a tall, thin man wearing a fine black suite complete with a tie and dress shoes, the only thing that sets itself apart from a normal human is the fact that it has no face and it can change it size at will. This being first appeared on the SomethingAwful forums as a contest entry as a paranormal image, but once the first, few Slender Man images appeared swarms of people reported that they have seen creatures similar to the Slender Man over the years. In Crossover, Slender Man and his ilk are very real and are considerably dangerous to anyone who would encounter him either alone or in public.

There had been many theories regarding Slender Man on what he is, what he wants, and what abilities that numerous people have reported. The most popular theory about what is Slender Man is that he’s a tulpa, a thoughtform brought to life due to the collective thoughts of individuals due to the popularity on the internet regarding Slender Man; a physical creature that is reliant on physics and understood science such as a trans-dimensional being; a type of faerie that, along with other mystical beings, is adapting to modern times. The idea of Slender Man being a tulpa is an interesting theory but doesn’t seem to fit regarding the fact that people encountered beings like Slender Man and yet never heard of him gives the suggestion that he (or they, implying that there’s more than one Slender Man) may be a physical creature that can travel between dimensions as well as giving the idea that he’s a faery sense he appears mostly in forested areas as well as his habit of abducting people (ex. Children) similar to how faeries are known to abduct people such as children and are found mostly in forested areas.

In regards to what he wants no one truly knows but if the faery theory turns out to be true it could be that he is trying to abduct people in order to reproduce hybrids but not likely.

The abilities of Slender Man, unlike the theories mentioned above, are more explained and understood such as Slender Man’s ability to change his height and his ability to grow extra limbs/tentacles from his body for numerous uses. He is also known to cause distortion in film but his most interesting ability is to create Proxies, people under the control of Slender Man. Proxies share some of the abilities that Slender Man has but only some such as distortion of film, people who end up under Slender Man’s influence end up suffering from this strange disease called The Sickness that results in the creation of Proxies. The Sickness seems to affect the mind in a lot of ways that can drive the person insane, giving Slender Man control over them. Of course there are other abilities Slender Man has that we are not aware of at this time but with increasing reports of him and other monsters that were thought to only exist Creepypasta stories are becoming more real each day.

Slender Man (c) who ever first created him

Uh...ok I think this is starting to sound more like a fan made information regarding this stuff, heck this starting to sound like something out of the Guardian books as well as the movie >.>

------------------------------

I don't see any real worth regarding these groups regardless of the belief/disbelief stuff

Yeah I'm going to stop here

I've never read the Guardian Books--and it is more just a summary of my research on the matter.

Go ahead, research separately.

Funny, the only person who, on Halloween, wears a mask to seem normal in a crowd. Every other day he walks around without a face, and people call him a freak. Poor guy.

Doesn't really make a lot of sense if he only wears a mask on Halloween if hes trying to blend in on other days too

You know. i wonder if the Silence from Doctor Who are based on slenderm man. they both look the same. And i always thought of slender man being a highly evolved form of cephalapod.

Probably, though I don't recall a cephalapod growing tree like limbs from it's body

well a octopus can blend into to its enviorment. its possible that its due to the changling abilities of the cephalopod
