Hah, such a descriptive name. But yay, a traditional laying-on-the-grass-happily scene! I think I did good with the texture I picked, yup yup. That Photoshop course I took in school sure was helpful.

These guys are why the Rocket Twins exist in the first place. A few years back I thought of a scenario where, twenty years in the future of the Pokemon anime, a young researcher goes on a journey through Kanto to do anthropological research and is joined by a bunch of young people of different walks of life who are all quite curious about his research, some for the sake of being curious about it and one for a very particular reason (read: he's Jessie and James' son and they don't tell him nothing about Team Rocket). And so, the Twins were created. And I think it's time I gave Mickey's OC friends some time in the limelight, 'cause I still think they're pretty cool, yo.

Michael "Mikey" Willow: Born in the Sevii Islands, 18-year-old Mikey is the eldest son of Pokemon Professor Bastian Willow. Living in a research environment influenced Mikey greatly, and he ended up becoming a researcher himself, focusing on the relationships between humans and Pokemon. His current research project is Pokemon-focused crime syndicates like the disbanded Team Rocket. He's a bit awkward and gawky, but he's also a kind and friendly person who is infectiously optimistic.
Pokemon: Charizard (received as Starter from Professor Oak), Linoone, Drifblim, Snorunt, Cacnea

Sean Lehnsherr: 20-year-old Sean is a Dragon Tamer, member of Blackthorn City's famous Dragon Tamer clan. Having lost his parents at the age of 3, he was placed under the legal guardianship of his father's cousins, Lance and Claire. Though Claire was a busy Gym Leader and Lance's work as an Elite G-man often kept him away, they did everything to give their cousin's son a good and fulfilling childhood, and he grew up pretty well. Sean is a calm and hardworking young man who doesn't talk much, mostly because he never knows what's the right thing to say and second-guesses himself a lot. He is a kind and compassionate person who is always willing to help others.
Pokemon: Dragonite, Flygon, Kingdra, Meowth (rescued as a baby, kept because he got attached to the little thing)

Matthew "Matt" Cottonfield: A Hearthome City native, 19-year-old Matt had a comfortable childhood as the son of a Top Coordinator and a florist. He had always liked Pokemon and drawing, and eventually decided to combine his two loves by becoming a Pokemon watcher, which his parents heartily approved of. Matt is optimistic and full of energy, and has his own way of doing things. He often weirds people out and sometimes his utter tactlessness gets to them, but he's well-meaning and friendly. He's a tad forgetful, which is why all his Pokeballs are of the specialized variety, so he won't forget which Pokemon is in which Pokeball.
Pokemon: Toad (Breloom, Friend Ball), Tia (Togekiss, Love Ball), Silverwind (Butterfree, Net Ball), Shifto (Ditto, Timer Ball)

Samantha "Sam" Proctor: The daughter of Professor Aidan Proctor and Doctor Annie Proctor, 17-year-old Sam is quite the ruin maniac. She was quite involved in her parents' research on fossil Pokemon as a young girl, and eventually decided to travel the world as an archaeologist in hopes of discovering more about the ancient civilizations that trained said fossils in the past. Sam is sweet, energetic and highly determined, and will do everything (that is legal and moral) in pursuit of knowledge. She tends to get a bit ahead of herself and has no sense of danger, which is quite unfortunate since those ruins can get very dangerous.
Pokemon: Cradily, Kabutops, East Sea Gastrodon, Corsola

Preston "Tony" Riverstone: 12-year-old Tony is the eldest of Brock's five children with Pewter City's resident Nurse Joy. Since his parents are so proficient with Pokemon and caring for them (Brock became a famous breeder with his own line of Pokemon food), Tony is very knowledgeable about Pokemon and very compassionate. He is far more responsible than the average 12-year-old due to having four younger siblings (three Joylings and a baby Brockling, in case you're wondering), and despite being the youngest of the group, he's their voice of reason. Because schooling has become compulsory up to age 15 due to various circumstances, Tony only travels with his Pokemon during school holidays.
Pokemon: Wartortle (received as Starter from Professor Oak), Nuzleaf (Premier Ball), Swablu, Houndour

Mickey Stuart: 15-year-old Mickey is the masculine half of Jessie and James' twins, and the rowdier of the two (though Megan is not a particularly calm kid, they're both hellions). Tired of the quiet life in the Orange Archipelago and annoyed with his parents for wanting him to finish high school before he does anything fun with his life, Mickey ran away from home for the summer holidays to travel the world. Of course, since he's a dork and decided to travel with a PokeNavi so he won't get lost, his parents WILL find him and he is going to get SO grounded. For like, the rest of the school year. Megan would be happy. Either way, Mickey's in it for the adventure, and his parents DO appreciate that. But he's SO grounded.
Mickey is arrogant, goofy and prone to overreactions, but in the end he's a softhearted and loyal person who's a great friend to have. Even Megan would have to agree, and she's his sister, so.
Pokemon: Axel (Growlithe), Gliscor, Spinarak, Ekans
