I know! The same feeling I had when I was re-watching. I forgot what a great show it was. The dub was actually pretty well done, too.
And thank you! I really tried to keep the integrity of the characters, as they had pretty defining features themselves. I'm glad I could keep that in tact.

I never really got into Trigun, but I've always loved Vash's fashion sense. The only part about it I don't get is why he'd wear something that hugs his core so much in a hot desert.

You know, I never really got that either. Though it was a desert, I don't think the actual temperature was ever really mentioned. However, he did wear a crap ton of leather. I think it might be because he was a Plant that he doesn't like... -need- to eat, and doesn't age, so maybe he can't feel extreme temperatures and what not either?
