I feel soooooo uncreative for titles.... :sweatdrop: Oh well. I guess I should introduce my naga. His name is Marand and he is my first successful naga. He is a California Mountain King Snake, which are one of the breeds of snakes that oppose Coral Snakes in the little rhyme "If red touches yellow you are a dead fellow, if red touches black your ok jack" As you can see, red touches black with this little one. He is a sweetheart with only one big protective streak... and that would be his mate and his young.

He also isn't exactly normal... you see, he comes from a subrace of naga who lived in a very harsh, and unforgiving environment. Yearly one or the other of the genders ends up with dangerously low numbers. This made it very difficult to keep the population up and many of the naga raised a cry to there god for a way to keep from dying out. He answered them and gave them a unique ability... males became able to give birth as well as fertilise, and females were able to fertilise and give birth. This ablitly, along with a shortend gustational period and a quick maturity rate in the young, helpped to prevent the extinction of these nagas.

Marand, in this pic, is reveling in his new freedom. He had been kept in a slave caravan for three years, and was quite unhappy there. The slave traders had thought to sell him as a vergin because between that and his exotic beauty he could be sold for a much higher price. Marand, though, did not want to be sold into slavery, expecally not as a sex slave, so he did what he thought was the best, he made it so that the buyers didn't want him. He would thrash, and hiss and bite and just make it look like he would take much more to train than he was worth.

In the end the slave drivers decided to just rape him and get it overwith to teach him not to misbehave. Fortunatly for Marand a group came in at the very last moment before the act... because the region they were in only allowed human slaves, and wouldn't have slaves of any other races sold or kept. This is just after Marand had the shackles and tie taken off of him for the first time in three years.

Hehe... I think he is a little cutie... he is going to have a very special mate <3
