Description
Redesigned Inkscape icon using the Adobe Creative Suite design. Can be used on any system if converted. The downloadable package includes a .icns, .png and .psd version of the file.
Some people prefer the Adobe Creative Suite icon design, and therefore I bring you, the Illustrator converts, an Affinity icon based on the Illustrator icon.
Ironically, this icon was created using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

All icons on linux machines are provided by svg files, so this icon doesn't look quite right on my system. Also the inkscape logo snow peak has been modified slightly, so it looks a bit off on the left side. Did you do a re-vectorisaing of the logo?

It was made using Photoshop using macOS, based on a vector file I found, so no vectors, sorry! I'm still learning how to use Illustrator. I haven't tested this on Linux, however, back when I used Ubuntu, I remember that it used PNG for icons. What distro are you running?
Also: updated the copyright footer. Thanks!

Ah I see, Ubuntu has used svg icons since 2008, although png is still supported, there's variant sizes for app icons. All of them are svg now though, you can tell the old apps with png icons as they look like a pixelated mess in the ubuntu launcher.
This would be a trademark footer, copyright is a different law see the link for the svg files for inkscape logo upstream.

I'll take a look, thanks! Maybe I'll get an update out. I don't really use Inkscape and I am mostly doing these for personal use, but I'll see.
