Description She forgot to bring a loot bag. On a raid. Into a dragon's lair. With so many shiny trinkets!

The Dragon Raider Rule Book clearly states; "Every member of a dragon raid is themselves responsible for bringing with them an appropriate flexible container as part of their own personal equipment for the purpose of effectively collecting and carrying various acquired items as to contain unwanted, dangerously and potentially lethal noise emitted from said items."

Maybe if they hold really still and are silent, the dragon will go back to sleep!

Everyone knows that greed increases the difficulty on dexterity rolls. Well, everyone except thieves. Cheers!

Backpack of holding, but remember to wrap all sharp and pointy things!

Cheers back!

And greed gets you once again.

Looks like the dragon is groogy, they might still be able to pull this off.

Well yes. The dragon's still a bit drowsy, so they might be able to...

Well, if the lady's luck is as bad as you say, then she is going to end up worse then dead, pregnant with the dragon's kids and the guy will be forced to be the "FREE" full time babysitter.

I was thinking more in the lines of forcing them to put everything back just the way they "found", them and the dragon being really picky about the precise position and order of things. They'll basically be stuck there forever until someone saves them.

By that point he has a free maid and butler, mind you the maid will be in something really small, frilly, and Revealing with the dragon being the fantasy equivalent of the Marilyn Monroe air vent sceen.

Heh! And for the traditional entertainment extravaganza the butler gets to dress up in a maiden outfit whilst serving the afternoon tea. "SERIOUSLY?!!" X3

Thanks! Looking at other artwork gives you a lot of new perspectives.

But as you wisely mentioned before, "artists are always hardest on themselves".
That wing started to annoy me right after I uploaded the image. X3

But we love moving on to the next image once we're done. Otherwise we wouldn't be making all this art. ;3

A Bag of Holding is by far the most valuable item an adventurer can own ^^
Got to love that big extra space that does not weigh anything extra and is completely sound proof. No shinies jangling about making noise as you try to sneak away!

Nifty little magic item, that...if you happen to be a character in D&D. Or are there other fantasy RPG worlds out there with similar items, aside very generous inventory rules in general?

Pablo-Tenax In reply to DerangedMeowMeow [2017-12-11 22:12:11 +0000 UTC]

I think there are a few. Hammerspace items is a relatively common trope after all ^^

Aaah...hammerspace..! That's a classic cartoon/Tex Avery power, ain't it? :3
Also, portals into other dimensions in general is a well known fantasy ingredient.
Smaller portals are called pocket-dimensions, which is a quite fitting descriptions.

Lions don't do that. Spraying is a skunk-thing...or...are you marking your territory..? In my gallery?! SHOO!!! ;3

Yeah, you mean the dragon. Still, a dragon should mark all their treasure somehow. I guess the usual way to do this is for them to use some form of magic.
I wouldn't go full on icky about it and settle for a mere non-fiery breath, magic or not, as a means for the dragon to track "temporarily misplaced" items by scent.
That would also include everyone who took part in the "misplacing" bit...
