What's the difference between a halfling thief and a minotaur thief?
When you notice the minotaur pickpocketing you, you keep your mouth shut!

Stop, you violated the law! Β Pay the court a fine or serve your sentence. Your stolen goods are now forfeit!
Yeah, not the best career choice

Oh, was that from Skyrime? Is there a minotaur mod for that game yet? X3

Awesomeness!
I love minotaurs so much and you made a really amusing minotaur drawing. I love how you make him look tough yet still endearingly cute. ^_^

Really terrific that you found a pic here that you enjoyed that much!
Well, a thief minotaur has to have other qualities than his ferocious berserk warrior cousins.

Somehow this reminds me of the fact that in Pathfinder, you can hide if you've got cover. Lugging around a Tower Shield and plonking it down in front of you constitutes as cover. Meaning one way of making sure you may always hide, R.A.W., is to wield the biggest and most cumbersome shield in existence.

So, does every NPC have a rating of 1 in intelligence and/or perception in that game..? Β
I like simple rules, and don't mind game mechanics overruling logic in favor of smoother game play, but there are levels of logic that is kind of hard to ignore. In which, case you ignore the rules and make up your own.

Like I said, that's just R.A.W., Rules As Written. I have yet to meet a gamemaster who would let something like that fly, thankfully.
I imagine you could potentially get away with it if every single NPC operated on some kind of "out of sight, out of mind"-logic.
"Gosh, I saw someone sneaking around here carrying a tower shield, but then they went behind it, and then they just disappeared!"

Thanks for the explanation. Was not familiar with that English term R.A.W.
The again I started R.A.W. as a noob GM in my youth, but soon broke a rule to the favor of an NPC... Β
Not a popular move, especially since it killed a PC, but the new rule then applied to PCs as well after that.
Out of sight/mind-logic is something I'm OK with in digital game mechanics.
It's easy to use common sense when you don't need to code and program.
HA! I had an idea for sketch about a scenario like that. Now I have to draw it, darn it! X)
