I loved Contra as a kid, and I died a LOT! Even the Konami code wasn’t enough sometimes!To quote my friend, Dr. Cyborg, “I hate how easy video games are now a days… Contra got it right… They drop you out of a helicopter and you die for nine hours.”

Up up down down left right left right B A (select) start! I saw that on a shirt at the Nintendo World store in NYC a while back, and thought it was funny that we all still remember the code after all these years. I LOVE the pile of bodies there... sooo true! Then there were all the shouting matches with friends when they would go too fast, or too slow adding to the death count.
