Description
So I have a friend who told me that they would love to see my process as I go about making these designs and what not. However, I don't record myself doing these things because I usually don't do it in one sitting but with this design I have. Now, I don't have a recorded version but I did make a process image for you all to see how I change my design as I go along. A couple main focuses of this project was to be quick and to be saved for later, realistic internally and externally, flexible to whatever situation its thrown in, and to have really interesting geometry. Now, as much as I like it right now. I am going to play with it a little more tomorrow and see where it goes then I will pick from there.Also on a side note: the reason this is on the backburner is because I am still working on the other 3 rifle variants of the BPR-18

The start for this as a P99 is great (noted by the entire pistol shape), but it needs a comfortable design that doesn't have the slider blowing back to your face that'll give a facial injury

Glad you're interested! Now the silhouette doesn't show it much but the design got wider to incorporate an internal bolt without the use of a slide. You can really see this by the poly carbonate bolt window on the Afterburner PDW silhouette since these are the process of getting to that one.

Hard to tell by the silhouettes, but it looks like it's got a normal pistol slide... and a stock that puts the slide against your face...? Already loving the style, just a little worried about facial injury.

Yeah the silhouette is deceiving but it is a closed bolt unit. After posting this design iteration I began to edit it further until I achieved a concept I liked even more. I'll post it soon and link you so I can hear your feedback on it.
