Description
Laguna was tricky in many aspects, he has some femenine features already so I couldn't get the 4 stages properly. I went for more detail instead, I hope you like! This sequence was kinda challenging. Drawing has been hard lately, as the delayed work on comissions has proved. Still, not giving up! I keep pushing to get everything done! Thank you all for your kind words of support.

Laguna? Bear my children. XD
He does look pretty girly already though, doesn't he?

It's the long hair. The fact Squall looks more like his mother and MORE manly because of that is telling.

I'm a huge Final Fantasy fan. Rule 63-ing Laguna is a HUGE piece of respect to me~

Me too. I love the most medieval ones (IX, V, IV and the Ivalice series)
Now that I look at this rule 63... I think I subconsciously based Laguna's femenine form in Julia Heartilly
...Maybe that's why he's so happy about it. He gets to play with Julia's body as much as he wants lol.

Personally I loved playing I, IV, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, Tactics, and Tactics Advance. But as far as scenery goes, I'd give the best award to IX. Imagine if Lindblum were re-done with today's graphics! It'd be soooo worth checking out!! And Burmecia! And Alexandria!! x_x MY GOD, GOING AROUND EVERYWHERE WOULD BE SO MUCH FUN!!!
... You know, now that you bring it up, that actually makes way too much sense... LOL

IX, Chrono Cross and Legend of Mana have the best background designs. Lindblum would bring to its knees anything but the most modern PCs.
I recall Squeenix saying that current technology can't render FF7 backgrounds... IX was a lot more complex, the towns were so full of life: random pidgeons, people going to their houses/work/etc...

As everything should, for behold, Lindblum, in all of it's glory.
That's right, actually. Also, Enix said that once they finally do find the technology, they'd not only re-create Final Fantasy VII, but also mark it as the end of the entire Final Fantasy career, titling it as the ultimate goal. In any case, they'd jump to VII sooner than tackling IX anytime soon. Well, if anything, recreating IX with XII's graphics wouldn't be so bad, either.

yeah I loved the technique they used of cleverly creating more detail with textures rather than polygons. It worked wonders with Vagrant Story.

Yeah, I guess if worse comes to worse, it could be done with cel-shading.

For what its worth I'd say you haven't lost your talent for drawing in the slightest since your absence.

Yeah, the end result is still decent. It's just that it takes me almost 3x the time these days. It's like forgetting dance steps or something like that. I keep wondering what I'm supposed to do next after a few minutes.

I should think the more you do the faster the process will eventually take.

So good to see new stuff from you. Don't stop drawing even though it's hard, that's the only way to beat the artistic blocks...
