The Columbian mammoth (Mammuthus columbi) is a species of Mammoth found throughout the Galaxy.

Reaching 4 m (13 ft) at the shoulders and 10 t (22,000 lb) in weight, the Columbian mammoth was one of the largest species of mammoth.

It has long, curved tusks and four molars, which were replaced six times during the lifetime of an individual.

Unlike their hair covered cousins, the Wooly Mammoths, Columbian Mammoths are distinguishable for being hairless.

They are apparently herd animals, due to which a Mammoth would react with panic when alone and separated from its herd.

The Columbian mammoth prefers open areas, such as parkland landscapes, and fed on sedges, grasses, and other plants. It does not live in the Arctic regions which were instead inhabited by woolly mammoths

Being a large animal, it's known they attract many predators. They are one of the common prey Items for the Vastatosaurus Rex, Carnotaurus, Venatosaurus and Smilodon.

Though friendly herbivores to other animals whom they sensed meant them no harm, Columbian Mammoths are very powerful and extremely dangerous creatures when they were scared and panicked or sensed danger; lashing out and using their immense strength to destroy anything around them that set them off.
