würde natürlich so einiges vereinfachen wenn man mal nen schönen ingame hintergrund haben möchte und man aus engine technischen gründen an diverse gegenstände nicht rankommt/sie tragen kann.
allerdings würde ich mir das ganze 2mal überlegen wenn man dafür ne strafe kriegen könnte?
Spiele nämlich auf nem offi server und da käm mir das ungelegen wenn ich nen bann für so spielereien kriegen könnte ^^

Hmm eigentlich dürfte das erlaubt sein da man nur die cache modifiziert. Es ist nicht direkt eine datei, die du im wow ordner hinzufügst, anders als gewöhnliche model swaps.
Naja und mit dem neuesten modelviewer zeigt es diese NPC items und die nummern leider nicht mehr an... D:
Ich rat dir aber wenn du möchtest einen WoW hintergrund, log dich ein, flieg wohin und mach nen screenie im first person mode oder download dir das machinima tool (die offizielle seite findest ganz schnell mit google) das ist auch keine direkte modifikation und ist soweit ich weiß erlaubt. Damit kann man die Camera herumfliegen lassen während dein chara an ein und der selben stelle bleibt. Die farben des ambienten zu verändern usw ist auch möglich.

oh sehr gut zu wissen, meinst sicher den Mapviewer oder?
Wusste nicht das man da auch die Farbgebung ändern kann aber sollt ich mir gleich mal anschauen

you cant get npc items i wmv anymore... it sucks, AND i dont know what version has them... I miss npc items...

I miss them too. But with some MPQ edit program you should be able to find the IDs for the NPC armor.

For some reason, the MS won't work for me. I load it up, the first box gets everything. Then I get an error saying, "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click quit, the application will close. Could not find file 'C:\Users\myname\Desktop\items.txt'" Then, when I click 'continue' the second box won't load up, even though I tried doing what you said. :<

Hmmm did you check the FAQ in its thread?
When only 1 list loads, try to delete cache, login your chara (to recreate it) close wow then again and open the model swapper.
If it still doesnt work, load the itemcache manually. More on how to do it is in glitchy's thread.

Can others see if you swap your armor? I want to use this to roleplay with my lvl 12 rogue, which still has some white items.

no one else can see it ingame, because its client side.
But when you take screenshots and share em, they will see it ofc. xD
