First off, as a fellow foodie, can I just say that I absolutely love the concepts in this piece?! You've got some really creative and interesting combinations on there e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w… " width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="387" title=" (Wink)"/>. As for the work itself, I also believe that it is beautifully drawn and well done. The colors you used helped to provide a great range of tints and shades, thus creating high contrast, which help the food to pop and look more three dimensional. My personal favorite has got to be the "Dark bread with cream cheese and caviar"; it's so vibrant and beautiful! However, something I did notice was the combination you entitled "Vol au vent with cottage cheese and caviar." It is my understanding that Vol au vent is made of puff pastry, which is incredibly flaky and almost crispy. At first glance, your drawing leans more toward a softer, doughier, almost stacked pancake look. I would suggest trying to draw the puff pastry in a more crispy and kind of falling-apart-because-it's-so-flaky style. Additionally, I feel that the scallop in "Caviar scallops on a bed of baby spinach" is a bit dark; almost the color of a mushroom (which is what I accidentally mistook it for before reading the description). I would recommend perhaps lightening the colors in the scallops and giving it more of a yellow/golden border rather than a dark brown. Finally, you may want to consider changing the font of the descriptors ever so slightly... it may just be me, but the word "caviar" looks quite similar to the work "carrion" at a quick glance (it's definitely not carrion!). Overall though, I really love the vision and style of this artwork. You did a wonderful job; keep creating!

Oh my god! Thank you! Caviar looks perfect! I've never tasted any of those and I don't remember the taste of black caviar (I used to eat it when I was a really young girl), but they look sooo mouth-watering. Vol au vent looks really interesting. First I thought they were caviar blinis (a dish from our kitchen, though I prefer eat them with chocolate), but then googled it. Anyway, the choice is magnificent. Every time I see your drawings I feel as if I'm visiting some kind of virtual restaurant^^
