The final outcome for my current assignment titled, "What is communication design?" (First version here )I kinda rethought the concept over and decided to go with how design surrounds us. It's everywhere, it shapes our world. That's the text that runs along the bottom of the poster.. "Design shapes. Our world.", where "shapes" can be read as the noun or verb; to shape the world.
I thought that was very catchy when my tutor suggested that idea. Also, the can, bottle, road sign, hot air balloons all represent elements of what graphic design involves.I'm happy with both the posters I've produced.. each has its own special quality. They were also enjoyable to work on.
Hopefully the tutor gives me my 50% of my semester's marks..

That is so good. I'm a beginner with like only a couple months under my belt but next year I go to college and hopefully I will learn to do stuff that will look that awesome.

I think that it is just missing one aspect--details.
I think that if you added small detail in some places, like in the buildings or balloons, it would really make the piece pop more. Plus it would keep the viewer's eye looking around trying to piece things together.
I also really like how the watercolor was scanned in. I love the hand-made graphic design look...
