Using a shard of broken window she cuts the butterfly from her dress, giving it the life and freedom she could only dream of...Been working on this one for a while... I quite like how it turned out mostly. I know the BG perspective is off because while I was drawing it I taught myself proper 1 point, hopefully I can implement that better in another picture. It was really fun playing with lighting and making the character lit with the secondary light which has bounced up off the floor from the window stream.

When I see her, I think someone had imprisoned her, and then this person has been killed/died and even if she shouts on the top of her lungs, no one can hear her and the chain is too strong to break it by yourself... it makes me feel imprisoned, hopeless ;-; But someday someone will find her and help her, I believe. Hope dies the last.

this is beautiful and powerful as usual. my only minor critique is that her arm isn't casting a shadow, even though it's in direct light. not a huge deal, but slightly distracting is all. very emotive nonetheless. wow.
