I made this for a friend but figured' it might be useful to others too. I've seen some written tutorials but no picture ones, I could be wrong of course, but the more tutorials the better I guess? I'm not going to say everything is definitely perfectly right here but this is what I do at least.
I didn't specifically say it but you don't always have to clear STP and modulation, sometimes its fine, but if the utau sounds weird its usually one of these that's the problem.

also you may want to clear the CACHE if you have previously rendered a file, as sometimes it will take files from the CACHE and re-use them, instead of taking the edits you've made. you should clear cache's anyway oh my god they take so much space when they start piling up.

also please note I have never touched the english version of either PMD or UTAU so If you use the english names I probably cannot help you with any questions.
