Description
Every once in a while, abandoned and run-down buildings become the base of operation for drug dealers, thieves, and other vermin. They generally keep their heads down but are known to harass, rob, or attack the people unfortunate enough to live in the same general area.Officer Isabel, Grew up in the part of town where this happens most. In the past, she and her family had several run-ins with these vermin and after one of these altercations caused her to lose her mother, she vowed to better the world and weed this scum out for good.
For years, she studied and trained rigorously until she was accepted into the BCPU.
During her years working for the BCPU, Isabel worked diligently to uphold her vow, by “cleaning up” the criminals one by one.
If news came in of another run-down building having been taken over by vermin, she always volunteered, and because of her background, she almost always got them assigned to her.
On a quiet, sunny day, Isabel was on her way to one of these houses overrun with vermin. She was happily humming as she drove over to the location in her unmarked BCPU van. Her special BCPU training had taught her just how to deal with vermin, permanently.
She parked her van in a parallel street, knowing that this would allow her to access the house’s backyard without being noticed. She stepped out of the van, opened the back, and took out her tools. Although the weather was warm, she put on her long rubber gloves and boots, as being hot was preferable to betting cut up by whatever, bushes, trash, or broken glass between her and her target. She took her gas mask from the van and put it on her belt. Lastly, she took a long hose and a large gas canister of hydrogen cyanide gas. Having everything she needed, the made her way to the backyard of the house. The scum, in their infinite wisdom, had boarded up the back windows and placed cardboard in place of the, now probably broken, glass. Because you can’t see through cardboard, the criminals had no chance of seeing Isabel coming.
When she was in the backyard, she set down the large canister and attached the hose. She quietly cut a hole in the cardboard, large enough to insert the hose and watch through at the same time. She took a quick peek to confirm the unwanted inhabitants were present and then inserted the hose. She then walked back to the cylinder and took a comfortable position on the flat top of it. She made sure she still had a line of sight through the hole and began to put on her gas mask, calmly adjusting the straps of her mask and checking the seal around her face until she was confident she would be safe from the deadly poison.
Isabel turned the valve, causing the pale green fumes to flow through the tube into the house. At the same time, she was watching attentively through the hole she made, not wanting to miss the show. The deadly vapors slowly fill the house, causing both the concentration of poison and Isabell's excitement to rise, rising while the criminals began to cough and stumble until, one by one, the rats fell, coughing and gagging, trying to breathe in air buy only getting lungfuls of poison until they stopped breathing altogether. The whole time, Isabel was quietly watching, enjoying the show, perfectly safe with her gas mask protecting her from any stray fumes flowing out of the hole.

Another question for you, dear viewer. In (my) art, what kind of gas or spray do you like to see used most? (Tear gas, pepper spray, poison gas, etc.)
And as a follow-up, What delivery system, do you like most? (gas grenade, spray can, big gas canister, etc.)
If any of those are something I’ve not yet drawn, but you think it would fit the themes I draw. I would love to hear your thoughts.
Lastly, some slightly sad news for you. During the coming 9 weeks (approx) I will be busy doing lab work, writing a thesis, and obtaining my degree. During this time, I will probably not make publishable art, and will probably respond slower to messages.
Feedback and/or art tips are very welcome
