Both look awesome. Unfortunately, Gamera was never released and Godzilla got low ratings thanks to noobs who say 'Godzilla breathes fire and eats people'

Godzilla 2014 was actually quite good. Too bad Edwards is abandoning that project, though Max Borenstein is still onboard.
As with Gamera, I still believe it's still in production so it should be out hopefully next year.

No, I'm pretty sure they won't... Toho and Daiei HATE each other. As long as the companies continue this bitter rivalry then we'll never see Godzilla and Gamera duke it out on the big screen.

He's been owned by Kadokawa which is why Gamera the Brave was made.Β The people at Kadakawa Studios wanted to grant the fans wishes and make Godzilla vs Gamera but the Millennium series ended and Toho had no interest to bring Godzilla back after finishing Final Wars so Zedus was made.Β And the reason Gamera sounded like a Tyrannosaurus Rex was because Toho owned the roar.Β They even distributed the Heisei Gamera films if you can believe it.Β But now, we know that Gamera is coming back and has his classic roar back.
