According to Mr. Edwards himself, he said if he ever made a sequel (which is now confirmed), he'd make it similar to Destroy All Monsters, so don't be shocked if we see a world touring Godzilla in the 2nd film.

Well, what my bro might be thinking is that Rodan and Ghidorah might be the villains in Godzilla 2 (Rodan may team up with Ghidorah at 1st to help him get revenge on mankind, but then double crosses him forcing Rodan to fight alongside Godzilla (Godzilla would have a brief fight withΒ Mothra before she warns him about Ghidorah and Rodan, after he weakens her).
I hope it doesn't turn out to be a Ghidorah the 3-Headed Monster remake, I want a better version of DAM.

I liked the movie, but the advertizing was terrible. The posters represent Godzilla as the villain, traveling around the world destroying cities which was why i was hiped but NOPE! I got trolled.Β

Well, I'm not sure if I would call it classic. It was originally just a big "Roar!", but then they gave him a distinguished written sound because they thought that a simply "Roar!" didn't do justice to his actual call, which is a true statement!

Many comics, including Marvel, dark horse, IDW and others have this kind of roar. This isn't like RWAR Iz am giantz monsta. This is making him unique, with a sound that resembles a lot of Godzilla's roar, and caught on with many to this day.

That's what I mean. Marvel, Dark Horse and IDW weren't the first to put Godzilla in a comic, they just decided that his roar needed more uniqueness to it, which it does. In fact, I don't even think Marvel used "Shreeonk!" or any of its similar counterparts or their version!

I mean. The movie was good as a standalone monster film. When I first saw it when I was younger, I thought it was good. But of course, as aΒ Godzilla film, it wasn't very good. Funny thing though is that Dinossword made a journal reguarding to a kid, who thought Zilla was the REAL Godzilla and the original 1954 one was a FAKE! Just hearing him talk about it made me SICK!

I always say that. The movie itself isn't a BAD monster movie. Is it the best, hell no, but it's not horrible. The monster itself isn't bad, either. Actually, he's kind of cool. The problem that I have withe the whole thing is that they call him GODzilla. Even ZILLA is a bit too close, and the fact that his roar is based off of Godzilla's doesn't fit either. He should have a completely original roar and a completely original name, and THEN perhaps, for a Godzilla fan like me, it would be agreeable. That isn't that much to change. Maybe change his spines a bit, too, just to make sure there isn't any similarities, but that's about it. Otherwise, they screwed him up enough to be considered unique.
I mean, they got a director that wasn't a Godzilla fan, so they were screwed from the very beginning... and how could anyone consider the 1954 version a fake?! That's just disgraceful, no, it's blasphemy!

That's why I bring it up so often. They made mangas for him, but not many and they're only in Japan. They just need to sit down, get busy, and make this thing happen, because you know it'll be a fan-pleaser.
