Oh make no mistake I was on top of that thing, managed to get a physical copy before the movie came out because I was determined to read it before I saw the movie

I think Mr. Frank has had more than his fair share of time in the spotlight, there's plenty of very talented artists I'd like to see get a shot at the kaiju genre through comic work.Β In a perfect world I'd like to see Art Adams take another shot at it, he's an absolute master of the genre.

You keep me going during the down days, man XDΒ Well maybe that's a stretch but I do appreciate your generous feedback.Β The new design did take a lot of getting used to, but it's in my brain now and it'll stay there like most of the old designs have thankfully.Β The male MUTO is a little big here but that's the inevitability of making pics before seeing the film.Β Needless to say, though, it's giving me some fun ideas for future fan comics.

I love Zilla. As a kaiju, i don't see why people hate him so much. Hes really cool and has nice design.
My friend told me that Toho supposedly saw the movie and they really liked it, which according to him, means a lot. So lets keep our fingers crossed! I have to tell my friends to reserve tickets lol

I actually really love the name "Zilla" It sounds too cool and really rolls of the tongue. I know the origin of the name was because people said he didn't deserve the "God" in "Godzilla"

I just dont see where all the hate came from. Yes, they tried to pass him off as Godzilla. Yes, the movie was bad. But that didn't stop him from having a really cool design. Also, the cartoon was extremely awesome too

Well that's what I'm saying. The movie, i.e. the first impression, ruined any possible credibility the design had as a Godzilla. The Series rectified this, but it was too late. The first impression needed to be made in live-action. That being said, I'm still on the fence about the whole thing. I can call "Zilla" "Godzilla" without having any issue, but I can also see him as his own creature.
