Just the main historical sources, they are given in many scholarly books. Depend on what exactly you are interested in.

Tnx) In ancient times, eunuchs is a term for the castrated or partly castrated males for the sake of their duty and loyalty to their masters. The term itself means "the one by the seat" or the one who guards the the seat of King or a ruler because often the eunuchs were in the machine of governing.

...I'm sorry, I'm not seeing it. This is BEAUTIFULLY well drawn, just π gorgeous.
But there's no getting my brain to click that they're both male. The golden haired one, I can see as a man; I've seen people who look like him. But the dark haired one looks too much like a female. Just the way you drew the hips and legs, the curve of the torso; it's far too feminine to be male, especially taking the time period into context.

We don't like the gender sexism thing.

I don't see how male and female gender can be sexist.

A female can look like a male and that's okay. A male can look like female and that's fine.
While gender sexism is insisting: male should look like male with muscles and sharp features, and female like female with breast and round things. Not other way around.
That how I see the equality :3

Alright. I can understand when you put it that way, especially for people in real life. But in art, when a character resembles a woman/female, most will assume that they are a woman/female.

they can assume all they want. but they should not force artists to do as they want.

I didn't say anything about forcing artists to do as they want; that is indeed an abomination. I'm just referring to the reaction effect. For every action, there is a reaction; and that is what forms the bond/relationship/ whatever-else-you'd-call-it between artist and viewer.
What you make is your own creation (as it rightfully should). But when we (artists) upload our work onto sites such as these, shouldn't we listen to every review, criticism, and even bitter comments to determine what worth they are in examining our work?

I looked up what "eunuch" meant, and while I'm a woman the definition sounded so painful to me. But the history between Bagoas and Alexander is interesting.

why? the eunuch means 'bed keeper' from Greek eune ("bed") and ekhein ("to keep") because basically they were the guards of the king as they stood besides his bed like bodyguards. Yes the were castrated but still they could have some intimate life, especially the white euhuchs like Bagoas. And then in ancent times not all eunuchs were castrated it was often a term for 'queer people' who were called 'natural eunuch' because naturally they didn't have desire to people of opposite gender.

It was the castrating part that made it sound painful. I mean, that's not quite exactly a willing choice one tends to make. Especially back in those times. It wasn't about if their intimate life was totally gone or not, it was about how much pain they must have experience. Pain killers weren't exactly made back then. That's all it was for me.

In ancient time there were many things unwilling (and so for today perhaps): marriage, slavery (same for modern job contract) army? because wars were recent and not all people like to die like that. Yeah, it's sad but it's just the life. And yeah, there weren't pain killers they used to give opium for less pain... blah I know that's scary.

Indeed it it. But at least some good things came out of these events, as shown in your picture here.
