Carlos has been in my watch list for a few years now...I remember downloading this when he posted it back then...Super Girl. Very lovely
I'm feeling pretty bummed because of the crappy day I have had, so was skimming my hard drive and noticed this. I was thinking it might cheer me up... Funny thing, I just read what Carlos wrote in his description; that he drew this for his GF because she was feeling down! Cool coincidence I'm thinking
Spent an hour with a .3 Staedtler pen on not so great paper...ink bleeds a bit...

I don't even like Supergirl (bland!) and thought this lining too cool. I am proud to watch Sir. You have talent - not only with inks but with design and expression.
Hmmm...Bubblegum Supergirl...what an idea! Oooooo...*brilliance* I need to write this down - *scribbling in idea journal* ideas for a summer commission set or contest. Steampunked Heroes (I'm sure that's been done) but who wouldn't want to see ol Wolvie done up as Jack the Ripper or Spring Heeled Jack AND Bubblegum Pop Heroines - Rogue lounging sassily blowing a bubble (I love her) or Emma Frost blowing a gum that crystallizes and shatters...hmmmmm
