I am not entirely sure how I came up with this, but it stemmed from a need for painting a Vampire. Vampire's are my favorite mythological beings in fiction. What's with all of this fuss about zombies? That has quite the popularity nowadays, eh? But, what about Vampires? Where is the love there? I never did liked zombies. What's so great about a bunch of brain dead monster that eat people? Vampires like eating people too, but they do it with style and class. One can do a lot with a Vampire story. Vampire's can be humanized, while zombies can't. I especially like stories that focuses on the emotional strain that comes from sucking human blood. A good example of this, is from the movie called "Interview With The Vampire", where it follows the main protagonist coming in terms with his lust for blood...Oh. And, he falls in love with a 100 year old, trapped inside of a 12 year old's body...Yeah. That happens... Such a great movie :3

About the painting itself...
This one was a toughy to finished. I had trouble blending everything and making it "fit", if you know what I mean. The color composition (if that's a thing) was especially hard to get right. I think it turned out pretty good though...I think...
